What we evaluate
For each credit card we evaluate seven dimensions: airline transfer coverage, hotel program coverage, business-class redemption value, luxury travel value, beginner friendliness, premium-traveller value, and overall reward density.
How we source data
- Official issuer T&C documents and product disclosures
- Public airline and hotel award charts
- Verified member submissions, cross-checked against issuer sources
- Editorial research on real-world redemption sweet spots
How scoring works
Each card is run through our open scoring engine. Inputs include reward rate, transfer-partner breadth, premium-cabin redemption value, lounge access, forex markup, milestones and joining benefits. Weights are configurable per use case (e.g. business class vs. hotels vs. beginner).

What we never do
- We never accept payment to alter a score or ranking.
- We never invent benefits, sweet spots or partner relationships.
- We never use AI to fabricate offers or testimonials.
Updates & corrections
Card terms change. When an issuer revises a benefit, we update the underlying data and the score updates deterministically. Spot an error? Email editorial@luxmilesclub.com — we publish corrections within 48 hours.
